Russel Metals Inc. is currently seeking an individual for the position of Shipper / Receiver in our Russel Metals Processing Saskatoon, SK location.

Please note - our work environment is safety sensitive and will require the successful applicant to undergo a pre-employment medical and drug evaluation.

Position Summary

The successful candidate will assist with moving, counting, labeling, cleaning and packaging of steel, aluminum, and stainless steel parts. This position will require someone who is able to work varying shift rotations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Operating a forklift and crane
  • Cleaning, packaging, and labeling of parts
  • Updating work information in the computer system
  • Loading and unloading trucks with forklift
  • Cleaning machinery and workspaces
  • Contributing to efforts at continuous quality and efficiency improvement

Education and Skills Required:

  • Shift work may be required
  • Pervious forklift experience is an asset
  • Ability to read and communicate in English
  • Effective communication skills
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Self motivated, results oriented.
