Job Description:

A.J. Forsyth is currently hiring an Operations Support Coordinator for our Prince George, BC location. This position is responsible for supporting and coordinating the timely operations within the administration, operations, and shipping department. This is a full-time, permanent position that reports directly to the Processing Superintendent.

Job Responsibilities:

  • All duties related to everyday Administration processes/controls in line with Russel Metals policies and procedures
  • Key role with Inventory Control, Cycle Counts and Physical Inventory Counts
  • Working closely with outside facilities that process our material and accounting for it within our system for traceability and reconciliation
  • IA Adjustments
  • Provide solid backup for the branch in RMI Trucks with daily load schedules.
  • Provide solid backup for the LMS/BIS Training Platform
  • Shipping and receiving duties

Job Requirements:

  • Grade 12 education or equivalent
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Accuracy and attention to details, strong analytical, time management & organizational skills
  • Self motivated team player
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written) must be fluent in English
  • Solid interpersonal skills with ability to communicate and build report with internal & external customers
  • Self motivated Team player with strong problem solving skills

Preferable:

  • Experience in industrial & commercial shipping
  • 1-2 years prior admin experience
