Russel Metals is currently seeking an individual for the position of Administrative Assistant in our Edmonton, AB location. We are looking for someone who is organized and detail focused to help provide an array of support services to our Branch.
Job Responsibilities:
- Entry of branch payables on a daily basis.
- Reconciliation of vendor statements.
- Daily filing of costumer invoices and payables.
- Entry of inventory adjustments as required.
- System receiving of materials as required.
- Entry of customer credit/debit notes.
- Provide backup switchboard relief.
- Backup Mill Test Report scanning and retrieval
- Support additional administration requirements when required (cross training support).
Job Requirements:
- Computer proficient in MS Word and Excel.
- Strong analytical, time management, and organizational skills required.
- Detail focused with accurate data entry skills.
- Self motivated, professional and courteous.
- Effective communication skills (oral and written)
- A team player that is enthusiastic and possesses a high level of integrity.
Preferred:
- 1-2 years of previous office experience is an asset.
- Post secondary education in business is preferred.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing business cycle transactions.
