We are currently hiring a Financial Analyst in our Corporate Finance department at our Head Office located in Mississauga, ON. This is a full-time, hybrid position.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Key member of the financial reporting team, responsible for month/quarter/year end close.
- Timely preparation of branch and head office journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Completion of reporting packages for various Canadian and US companies.
- Creation and distribution of internal invoices for Canadian and US companies.
- Capable of conducting account analysis and determine root cause for variances.
- Involvement in the annual budget process by making monthly updates and working with regions as required.
- Response to queries from internal and external auditors on sample selections.
- Project and other work as assigned.
- Filing / Cataloging.
EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- University degree in Business Administration or Accounting (preferred).
- Excellent computer skills in the Microsoft suite of products, specifically Excel.
- Fluent in English including strong writing skills.
- Self-motivated, adaptable with strong interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Oracle or Cognos would be an asset.
Salary Range: $65000 - $75000
