Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a motivated and results oriented individual for the position of Senior Administration Coordinator to provide accounting administrative support to the Russel Metals Winnipeg Region. This role will report to the Business Administration Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create a safe, positive and productive work environment.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of accounts payable processing.
a. Mill
b. Freight
c. Expense
• Cash application to customer AR.
• Problem solving and reconciliation.
a. Invoicing
b. Inventory transactions
• Provide support/back up to other members of the Admin Team.
• Continuous process improvement.
• Special projects as assigned.
Education and Skills Required:
• Minimum 2+ years Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable experience.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Aptitude to succeed in a dynamic and deadline-oriented environment.
• Solid understanding of Information Systems business cycles.
• Strong communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Excel.
• Formal training/certification in Accounting principles is an asset.
