We are currently seeking a detail-oriented individual for the position of an Administrative Support Specialist within our Prince George, BC branch. This is a full-time, onsite permanent position, working hours Monday 8:30am-5:00pm.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Greeting and assisting walk-in clients with professionalism
- Assisting shippers with waybills and load lists
- Contacting couriers to schedule pickups
- Opening and distributing mail
- Managing bank deposits and Visa batch-outs
- Coordinating interoffice mail
- Receiving goods and managing invoices in our system
- Supporting accurate inventory counts and administrative records
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail, data entry accuracy, and flexibility in a fast-changing work environment
- A team-first mindset and strong customer service orientation
- Strong organizational, and time management skills
- Computer proficiency in MS Word and Excel
- Effective communication skills (written and oral)
- Must have reliable transportation
Preference will be given to candidates with:
- Grade 12 diploma plus a post-secondary vocational course in business or office admin
- 2-3 years of previous Administration experience
The range for this position is $45,000-$55,000 per annum.
