Russel Metals is seeking a results-driven and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our London, Ontario team. This individual will play a key role in growing revenue by selling as-is and value-added processing services, including cutting, sawing, forming, and other metal fabrication capabilities in an existing sales territory. The successful candidate will work closely with operations, purchasing, and outside sales to ensure exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Promote and sell value-added processing services tailored to customer needs.
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations, ensuring competitive and accurate pricing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate production timelines and delivery.
  • Monitor customer accounts to ensure ongoing satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Respond to inbound inquiries and proactively engage in outbound calls to drive business.
  • Maintain up-to-date product and industry knowledge, including trends in metal processing.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in business, sales, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience, ideally in the metals or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of value-added metal processing services and reading customer drawings.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP/CRM systems.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
