We are currently seeking a professional and highly motivated individual for the Corporate Receptionist position at our Mississauga, ON location. This is a full-time, 100% in-office position. Regular work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, with a one-hour unpaid lunch break.
Salary Range: $40,000 - $45,000
Job Summary:
The Receptionist will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for visitors and staff, managing front desk operations, answering phone calls, handling correspondence, and couriers. The Receptionist will also perform general clerical duties and assist the building manager in day-to-day activities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide pleasant, effective, and reliable direction of incoming calls
- Greet and assist guests upon arrival
- Answer general inquires
- Maintain reception logs, procedures, and tracking directories
- Order and distribute office supplies and business cards
- Serve as a central point of information for staff and clients
- Assist with daily operation of in-house employee cafe
- Receive and forward mail
- Coordinate ingoing and outgoing courier shipments and mail
- Assist with other general office duties as required
Job Requirements
- Self-motivated, professional, and courteous
- Pleasant telephone manner
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle numerous tasks and meet deadlines
- Enthusiasm for acquiring new work-related skills
- Excellent attendance record
Preferable
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
- 1-2 years previous experience in a similar role is an asset
