Russel Metals Inc. is currently seeking an individual to train for the position of CNC Machine Operator in our London, ON location.
Please note - our work environment is safety sensitive and will require the successful applicant to undergo a pre-employment medical and drug evaluation.

As an employee of Russel Metals Inc., and a member of the United Steel Workers Union, workers are entitled to overtime pay after 8 hours of work per day.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Operation of Machitech Machine, BLM Tube Laser, Dust Collectors, and Crane
- Responsible for all set up and preventative maintenance.
- Knowledge of computer programming.
- Process planning and CNC programming of machines.
- Responsible for meeting daily production and on-time requirements.
- Ability to read blueprints and conduct quality inspections.
- Ability to meet specific tasks at hand.
Skills Required:
- Effective communication skills
- Computer skills and ability to navigate windows.
- Process material to customer specification.
- Advanced problem-solving skills.
- Completion of all quality checks as per ISO and customer specifications.
- General knowledge of all products and ability to fill orders if required.
- Will assist in other areas as directed by the Supervisor.
- Primarily afternoon /or mid shift.
Preferable Skills:
- Experience with the operation of Plasma machine.
- Effective time management skills.
Hourly Wage: $29.12 (minus $1.00 for the first 60 full worked shifts)
