We are currently seeking a motivated individual for the position of Crane Operator at our 140 Paquin Road Winnipeg, MB location. This is a full-time, permanent position that reports directly to the Operations Manager.

Please note - our work environment is safety sensitive and will require the successful applicant to undergo pre-employment testing.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently load, unload, and transport steel materials using forklifts, cranes, or other material handling equipment.
• Operate packaging tools (machine and hand). 
• Using RF devices for accurate material tracking.
• Paying close attention to accuracy and detail. 
• Working in fast paced, deadline driven environment.
• Performs all other related duties as assigned.

Education and Skills Required:

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• May be required to work rotating shifts
• Ability to read, write and understand English
• Ability to operate forklift is an asset
• Proficient in performing mathematical calculations with ability to read a tape measure and calipers
• Self-motivated, results oriented
• Minimum 2 years of overhead crane experience

Shift Hours: Rotating shifts

Wage: $31.68 / hour
