Russel Metals Inc. is currently seeking an individual for the position of Saw Operator (Beam Yard) in our Nisku, AB location.

Job Responsibilities:
- Complete pre-inspection equipment reports before each shift including Saws / Cranes and or any other equipment used
- Perform all tasks safely and as directed
- Comply with all workplace policies including health and safety
- Be a team player
- Perform all tasks in a professional, respectful manner
- Any other tasks that may be assigned by management
- Participate in all company directed training
- Responsible for selecting the correct material in order to saw cut customer orders as required
- Organize work to consistently meet established production and quality targets
Job Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- May be required to work rotating shifts
- Ability to read, write and understand English
- Minimum two years of experience operating overhead cranes
- Previous experience with saw cutting
- Proficient in performing mathematical calculations with ability to read a tape measure / calipers
- Self motivated, results oriented
