We are currently seeking 2 motivated individuals for the position of Laborer within our Prince George, BC location. This is a full-time, permanent position that reports directly to the Plant Superintendent. This is a union position.

Please note - our work environment is safety sensitive and will require the successful applicant to undergo pre-employment testing.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Running overhead cranes
• Forklift operating
• Picking and packaging material according to customer specifications
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Performing daily preventative maintenance
• Ensuring quality customer service
• Other various labor duties as required

Education and Skills Required:

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Able to perform some heavy lifting
• Able to accommodate shift work
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good knowledge of math and measurements
• Effective communication skills
• Self-motivated, results-driven
• Highly safety-oriented, strong situational awareness
• Strong sense of personal accountability

Shift Hours: Training on Days initially, may be required to work a variety of shifts including afternoons, graveyards & weekends depending on business requirements

Starting Hourly Rate: $28.37 / hour

Wage Progression:

• Hours 0 - 1038:  80% of Classification
• Hours 1039 - 2076: 90% of Classification
• Hours 2077 - 3114: 95% of Classification
• Hours over 3114: 100% of Classification  ($35.46/hour)
